Teams Of Eight – 64 bridge players representing 8 teams from 7 clubs met at Tumble for the annual WBU Team of Eight Competition. The top few places were very close after the first 24 boards, with Cardiff Blue just in the lead from Cardiff Red and Penarth. However a strong finish from Penarth saw those places reversed after the final 18 boards. The buffet lunch was plentiful and we all hope you will join us again for this event next year, to be held on Sunday June 16th 2024, same time same place. Friendly Match – against Thailand. Discussions are underway in playing a friendly match against Thailand. It is hoped to schedule the event for either 24th or 25th June.
